«Transport week», the main business event of the transport industry in Russia, will take place on November 14-19, 2022. The event will include the traditional International Forum and Exhibition «Transport of Russia», which will be held at Moscow’s Gostiny Dvor on November 15-17.

«Transport Week» is held annually by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation in accordance with the order of the Government of the Russian Federation. The operator of the event is LeaderCongress LLC. The mission of the project is to encourage discussion and comprehension of Russian transport; to strengthen the involvement of the transport community in shaping the sustainable growth and prosperity of our country; and to demonstrate the best of the transport complex.

In 2021, the Transport of Russia Forum and Exhibition was held in a hybrid format. Last year, the key theme was «Transport of Russia — 2035. From Strategy to Implementation». Over the 3 days, there were 27 business formats, and 1,189 people from 15 countries took part. More than 300 speakers presented their reports on the most topical questions of the industry development. On the sidelines of Transport of Russia, 31 agreements on cooperation and collaboration were signed, and the work of the Forum and the exhibition was covered by 536 journalists from 255 mass media. As in 2020, it was possible to follow all the open business sessions online. Over the three days, the number of views of the online broadcasts was 232,000.

The leading players of transport market were among the exhibitors of the exhibition. Visitors could see here all the latest, innovative developments of the industry. In 2021 more than 90 exhibitors took part in the exhibition part of the event, who displayed their stands on the area of 3,900 square meters. Delegations from 46 regions of Russia visited the Forum and Exhibition in person. 25 of them were headed by the heads of the regions.

Every year, the program of the Forum becomes more and more intense. Not only the problems of today, but also the development of the transport industry were discussed in 2021. The opening event was the plenary discussion «Transport of Russia — 2035. From Strategy to Implementation». There, Igor Levitin, the Presidential aide, said a welcome address to the forum participants from Vladimir Putin. In his address, the President outlined the tasks of the transport industry: «Today, it is important to concentrate efforts on solving the top-priority, time-demanded professional tasks, to achieve real, tangible results in such issues as infrastructure upgrade, improvement of reliability and safety of transportation, development of transit logistic routes, renovation of public transport in the cities and regions of Russia».
