Rosmorport is a strategically important, systemic enterprise of the Russian port industry, the owner of the largest diesel-icebreaking fleet in the world.

Rosmorport was established by a Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation in 2003 to provide stable development of the country’s seaports and efficient management of federal property. One of the key tasks of Rosmorport is to ensure the safety of navigation in the waters of seaports and on approaches to them by creating innovative infrastructure of the seaports.
